U.S. orders must be received before noon in the recipient's time zone to assure same-day delivery. Orders received after that time will be delivered the following day.
We will do our best to accommodate deliveries at specific times of day, but we cannot guarantee it.
We are unable to make deliveries on Sundays. Deliveries requested on this day will be delivered the following business day.
Delivery of orders to rural route addresses or cemeteries cannot be guaranteed.

I ordered flowers to be sent to my mother for her birthday very late in the day (it didn't dawn upon me until close to 5 PM). They needed to be delivered half an hour away from Rutland Beard Florist's shop location, and they made a special trip just to get it to her on her birthday. This meant a lot to me, and I will always use Rutland Beard Florist in the future. The flowers were spectacular and lasted over 2 weeks. I have never been so impressed with customer service. A+++

I ordered a pricey arrangement from 1-800-flowers and this must be who they use in this area. I paid for roses and lilies and Rutland Beard substituted carnations and mums. Their policy states they will substitute only if the flowers stated are not available and then they will substitute with comparably priced flowers. A dozen carnations cost the same as a dozen roses? Mums are comparable to lilies? I think not. And what florist doesn't have roses on hand in the first place? Bait and switch!

Last week, I called Rutland Beard Florist to have flowers delivered for my mother's birthday, which was yesterday. She called me last night and couldn't stop raving about the beautiful flowers I had sent her. She said that she "had never received flowers as nice as nice as these in her life!" and she's 85 years old! The sales person I worked with had a very extensive knowledge of flowers and was very helpful in pointing me in the right direction. Everything about this company was excellent, and I will always use them whenever I need to send someone flowers. They also have a website at www.rutlandbeardruxton.com, but I found the phone call to be so helpful that I would encourage that you call.
